Requesting Journal Articles
Many journal articles are now available electronically as full text and can be found using our Research Databases or Journal A-Z List. See Finding Articles and Journals for help.
If the journal article you are looking for is not available online, as a CSU Distance Learner registered for DistanceLibrary Services, you can request to have paper copies of the articles you need mailed or faxed to your home or office. Simply complete and submit a Distance Learning Periodicals Request Form.
Please allow 2 days for delivery if we own the periodical, or up to 2 weeks if we do not.
Requesting Books (and other circulating materials)
Use the OhioLINK central catalog to find the books you need. When you request an item, make sure to choose the pick-up location closest to you. Pick-up locations not only include colleges and universities that are OhioLINK members, but also include branches of the Cuyahoga County Public Library. Please allow about one week for delivery.
Please note: You will need your CSU ID number to request books from OhioLINK. Make sure to chose Cleveland State as your school or institution when asked.
If a book is not available through OhioLINK, books ordered through Interlibrary Loan will be held for you in the CSU Library
