Library Administration

Welcome to the administrative offices of the Cleveland State University Library. Located on the fifth floor of the Library (Rhodes Tower 501), this is where you will find the office of Glenda Thornton, the University Library Director.

We are responsible for the management of the University Library including its collections, services and facilities. We are also who you want to contact if:

• You are a CSU student and you wish to apply for a job in the Library.
• You are CSU faculty or a CSU graduate student working on your dissertation or engaged in research and would like to rent a study carrell. (Contact Barbara Florjancic at 216-687-2475.)
• You are a Library user and you wish to report an unusual incident or event in the University Library, such as a situation involving library staff, other library users, or personal security.
• You are a high school teacher or librarian/media specialist and you would like to bring a group of students for a tour or library instruction. (Contact High School Liaison Librarian, Bob Cieslik, r.cieslik@csuohio.edu or 216- 687-2256.)
