Special Collections at the Cleveland State University Library
The Cleveland Memory Collection showcases just a fraction of the wealth of material housed in Special Collections, the home of Cleveland State University Library's unique and important archival collections about the Greater Cleveland area.
CSU's Special Collections provide a comprehensive facility for scholars, students and the general public. Our collections cover many topics within the field of Cleveland history, with special concentrations on the history of the industrial history of Northeast Ohio, Cleveland journalism, and the built environment of the city.
We are also the home for the Cleveland State University Library collections of rare materials, including the Marquis de Lafayette Microfilm Collection. This collection is one of only two available in the United States.
Other materials include books, maps, films and audio recordings. All of these items are listed in the University Library's SCHOLAR online catalog.
