STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS 6/14/66 Auxiliary Enterprises & Student Activities FY 1967 budget approved. 10/2/69 (69-49) Adopted the Policy for Social Fraternities. 11/2/72 (72-66) Adopted Fiscal Guidelines for Student Organizations. 9/14/74 (74-46) Authorized Treasurer to enter into repayment agreements with banks so as to recover dissolved organzation funds for appropriate use by CSU. In event of a legimate request for those funds by members of the defunct organization, the Treasurer is authorized to release those funds to appropriate claimants. 1/15/75 (75-7) Policy on Social Events Sponsored by Student Organizations adopted. 9/17/75 (75-73) Directed the transfer of certain inactive agency account balances in accordance with the schedule for disposition od said balances. 4/30/80 (80-23) Approved allocation of $21,400 of FY 1980 general fee income to provide additional support for student organizations and activities. 6/29/82 (82-60) Approved proposal for handling student organization accounts between Student Services & the Business Office - establishes a stunt organization account with the Controller; describes disbursement process; repeats rule that off-campus solicitations must be cleared with the Development Department. 6/29/83 (83-56) Policy on Social Events Sponsored by Student Organizations amended. 11/17/94 (94-73) Policies, Procedure & Guidelines for Student Organizations approved. 10/9/97 (97-35) Approved revisions including that student leaders receiving stipends are University employees; policies for bulletin boards controlled by the Student Government Association, and that student organizations selling consigned goods of $500or more must turn in an executed form releasing CSU from liability. 6/21/2000 (2000-35) Approved revised Student Organizations: Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines.
