     Approved billings for legal services for period starting 5/1/67 from Sidney Jackson, Jr. of Baker, Hostetler & Patterson, who was designated Special Counsel for CSU by Attorney General, for payment from CSU funds when projects requiring legal services are terminated.

     Authorized providing legal counsel at CSU's expense, to several defendants in Case No. C73-312, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

     Instructed University Counsel to defend CSU and John Urbancik, editor of The Cauldron, in the Case of Greenland v. CSU, et al.

     Authorized President to instruct special counsel to undertake defense of any trustee, office, or employee who is sued in his/her official capacity.
     If any such person is sued in his/her individual capacity, the President is authorized, upon request of such person, to determine whether best interest of CSU is served by having such person represented
by special counsel.
     If the President should make an affirmative determination, he shall then instruct special counsel to undertake the defense. 
    If the President shall determine that such defense is not in CSU's best interest, he shall refuse such defense and report such actions to trustees.
