     FAC brought before FC the disputed matter of tenure for Edward Chitlik. 
The tenured C-M faculty did not acquiesce in FAC's jurisidiction in the matter which threatened the Univ.'s internal governance mechanism. Adopted resolution re-affirming internal procedures and asking all parties to cooperate with internal agencies handling faculty complaints and grievances. FC censure motion to be taken up at special FC meeting of April 25, 1973.  Law Dean Christensen requested to attend.
 
4/25/73
     Resolved that difference among colleagues must be settled in accord with University personnel policies and by-laws as passed by FC and approved by Trustees. Any future differences in interpretation of By-Laws shall be resolved by FC.
