HELP WITH CSU INTERNET ACCESS
- Cleveland State University provides students and staff members with free Internet Access. The CSU Internet Access pages provide information and downloads you will need to set up this free CSU Internet access account. It also provides information about laptop wireless access on campus.
- Most of the resources offered electronically over the Internet by CSU’s University Library are accessible through the university’s access account, or through any commercial Internet Service Provider. You may, however, be asked to authenticate yourself as a valid Cleveland State user by entering your name and ID number exactly as printed on your Viking ID card. If you need help searching one of the Library-provided databases, there are a number of options.
- Once in a while you may encounter a web site that requires use of a specific Internet browser—either Netscape or Microsoft’s Internet Explorer—to be able to use all the features of the site. If one does not work, try the other. Most sites tell you on their homepage if there is a preferred browser to use.
- If you are having trouble using your free Internet access account, using your CSU email account or other computer-related problems, you may call the Information Services & Technology (IS & T) desk at 687-5050, or send an email message from the help page at http://www.csuohio.edu/inet-access/help.html.
